Kathrine G. Barber Suck, 92, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away at her residence Wednesday morning Nov. 13, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 21, 1921 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Samuel D. and Elsie Blanche Barnhart Barber.
Kathrine was a homemaker and one of the oldest living members of the Lynn St. Church of Christ.
She is survived by three sons, Edmond Larry Suek (Peggy)of Lakewood Ranch, Fla., Robert D. Suck (Kathie) of Parkersburg and John E. Suek (Judy) of Mineral Wells; one daughter, Betty Davis of Mineral Wells; one sister, Elsie Jean Dunfee of Pittsburgh, Pa., 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Kathrine was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Lawrence Suck, two brothers, one sister, and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service for Kathrine will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Evangelist Teddy Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens in Parkersburg. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of choice.
