Lois S. Wilson, 85, of Parkersburg, formerly of Clay, entered into rest Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013.
Born June 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Newlon and Eula (Hardway) Sutton.
Lois and her late husband, Carl L. Wilson, established Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay, in 1963.
She is survived by her son, Carl L. (Patricia) Wilson II of Shallotte, N.C.; daughters, Frances Kay (Richard) Volkert of Verona, N.J., Janet S. (Jefferson) Workman of Fayetteville, and Joyce L. (Ray) Ferrebee of Parkersburg; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Webster of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and brother, Kent N.(Trudy) Sutton of Amherst, Ohio.
Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Clay Memorial Gardens, Clay, with Pastor Joe Busch officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay.
