VIENNA - A ribbon-cutting was held Tuesday at the new Gift Gallery of Vienna, 1515 Grand Central Ave., Suite 6.
Employees of the store were joined by representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley and local dignitaries, including Mayor Randy Rapp, who extended a welcome to owner Victoria Yater and read a letter of support from U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va.
Yater, a native of St. Marys, returned home after several years in corporate business in neighboring states.

Having lived in metropolitan areas, she said it has been her dream to "bring a fresh and eclectic mix of unique style and function" to her home state of West Virginia.
Her vision with the help from family and friends has been realized in the Gift Gallery of Vienna. The store offers gift selections of various tastes and budgets.
The shop is open from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday to Saturday. It is closed on Sundays.
