James "Jim" A. Kimball, 57, of Williamstown died on Oct. 20, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
He was born July 21, 1956, in Hancock County, W.Va., to the late Roy and Irene (Shuman) Kimball.
Jim was a member of the Sixth and Washington Streets Church of Christ in Marietta. He retired from Weirton Steel after 17 years of service. He was a member of the Mustang Antique Car Club and owned his own '66 Mustang. He enjoyed watching and was a fan of the West Virginia University Mountaineers, Steelers, and Pirates. He also enjoyed having the young people from church over to his house for dinner and cooking his specialty, pies.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Carolyn Kimball; one special son, Jeff Sherman of Sandusky, Ohio; one very special little girl, Esther Katherine Starner (daughter of Jeff and Liane Starner) of Marietta, who was loved very much by Mimi and uncle Jim; two sisters, Carolyn (Bob) McClelland of Weirton, W.Va. and Donna (Earley) Owen of Middlebourne, W.Va.; he also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and friends to cherish his memory.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Roy Kimball.

A memorial service will be held beginning 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sixth and Washington Streets Church of Christ.
