Daniel R. Trembly, 68, of Parkersburg, passed away Oct. 25, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
He was born Oct. 21, 1945, at Parkersburg, a son of the late Cecil T. and Gertrude L. Spears Trembly.
Daniel was a Christian by faith, a graduate of PHS, and obtained an Associate's Degree from Mountain State College. He was also a DuPont retiree with 38 years of service an Army veteran of Vietnam (1966-1968), who enjoyed woodworking and helping family and friends with projects.
Survivors include his wife, Ricki Seaman Trembly of Parkersburg; two sons, Daniel T. (Karla) and Derek S. (Megan) Trembly of Parkersburg; one daughter, Lisa (Harold) Coleman of Mineral Wells; one brother, Troxil (Shirley) Trembly of Marietta; and two sisters, Ellen Hedges of Creston, W.Va., and Sue Galloway (Delmas) of Walker. He was Pap to three grandsons, Alex Trembly USAFA, Colorado Springs, and Josh and Chase Trembly of Parkersburg, and Pappy to one grandaughter, Kayla Burdette (Steven) of Walker, W.Va.; and three great-grandaughters, Hannah, Hailey and Harlee Burdette; also surviving is a special friend, Wayne Kemp of Parkersburg Care and Rehab.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents are three brothers, Dale, Roy and Frank Trembly.
Daniel chose the gift of education through the Human Gift Registry of WVU. A family dinner and celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
