J. Karen Boston, 67, of Parkersburg, passed away Oct. 21, 2013, at CAMC- Vascular Center, Charleston.
She was born May 5, 1946 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Lloyd Byrl and Ava Maxine Moncrief Boston.
Karen graduated from Parkersburg High School with the class of 1964 and from Glenville State College. She was a former teacher at Mountain State College, an accountant for Dr. Frame and Associates, and co-owner of Videodine.
Karen enjoyed sprint car racing, the river and all outdoor activities.
Karen is survived by one brother, Michael K. Boston and wife Janet of Parkersburg; five nieces, Norita Elzein, Shauna Davis, Stacy Wilson Boston, Terry and Christina; three nephews, James Keith Boston Jr., Brian M. Boston and Rickie; a special friend, Michael Byrd whom she treated like a son.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Byre Boston and James Keith Boston; two sisters-in- law, Mary Phillips Boston and Phyllis Brown Boston.
