After a nearly 6-year battle with Ocular Melanoma, Shirley Dianne Loubiere of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 16, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
Dianne was a wonderful daughter, wife and mother. Her spirit will forever be carried on by her devoted husband of 31 years, James Donald Loubiere, and her three adoring children, Natalie Dianne Aprill (fiance Jeff Gorman) of Houston, Texas, Jonathan Derek Loubiere of Baton Rouge, La., and Leah Elizabeth Mullen (husband Ryan) of Washington, D.C.
Dianne lived a full life during her 63 years. She was a special friend to many and stranger to none. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her sister, Joyce Neely (husband Darrell), of Jackson, Tenn., brother Woodie Pritchett and (wife Becky), of Simsboro, La., and sister Kay Buckley of Oologah, Okla., including many faithful friends in Franklin, La., Washingtonville, N.Y., Portland, Texas, and Parkersburg, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Pritchett, her mother, Mary Ella Pritchett, and her sister Alice Fay Bennett,.
A Memorial Mass will be said 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father John Rice as celebrant. Visitation will be today, 5-7 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg followed by the Holy Rosary.
