Edna L. Campbell, 80, of Parkersburg went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013.
She was born Nov. 9, 1932, in Ritchie County, W.Va., a daughter to the late Harry Homer and Gladys Moore Sheets. She worked over 39 years in the Accounting Dept. of Demuth Glass, was an avid bowler, and a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church in Lakeport, Fla., where she was the WMU President for many years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Lyle Campbell, William L. Ruth, and a brother, Harry Homer Sheets Jr.
She is survived by her children, Beverly L. Atkins (Bill) of West Palm Beach, Fla., Vaughn A. Ruth of Mt. Airy, N.C., and Tammie L. Ruth of Belpre, Ohio, Lyle's children, Mark Campbell (Amy), Angie Smith (Steve), Bobbie Campbell, and Diane Staats (Mike), grandchildren, Christopher, Jeffrey, Heather, Danatha, Jonathan, David, Shane, Sarah, Garrick, Christa, Joshua, Ben, Jalen, and Jacob, great grandchild, Tyler Atkins, sister, Cloris Knapp-Struthers along with many other extended family and friends.
According to her wishes cremation services were carried out and there will be a graveside service on Friday, Oct. 11, 2 p.m. at the Sunset Memory Gardens.
