Harry N. Bonar Jr., 77, of Vincent, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Oct. 7, 2013, surrounded by his family at his home.
He was born in Parkersburg on July 22, 1936 and was the son of the late Harry N. Sr. and Fay Conley Bonar. Harry was a member of the Belpre Church of Christ, was a member of the Power Squadron, member of the NRA, was a master gunsmith and had owned and operated his own heating and air conditioning business. His hobbies were making Custom Muzzleloaders, loved going to the Outer Banks fishing and loved his loyal dog, Brownie.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Olive Lee Wentz Bonar, a sister, Margaret Ann (Gary) Lenski, a son, Daniel Norman Bonar of Belpre, two daughters, Terry Bonar (Kimble) and Steve of Belpre, and Judy Ann Bonar Kimble of Belpre. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son Paul Joey Bonar.
Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Belpre Church of Christ with Ron Laughery and Jack Colegrove officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the Memorial Service.
