Mrs. Elma Florine McClung, 97, of Parkersburg, died on Oct. 5, 2013, at the Worthington Manor Nursing Home in Parkersburg.
She was born on April 26, 1916, in Kincheloe, W.Va., a daughter of the late Arnold and Ida Belle Post Oldaker.
She was a homemaker and attended Red Hill United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Geneva and Kelly Gibbs of Parkersburg and Charlotte and Haymond Davis of Williamstown; four grandchildren, Debbie and Mark Hutson of Salem, Chuck and Shelly Robinson of Salem, Sandra and Jeff Moore of Stafford, Va., and Ryan Davis of Williamstown; and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Franklin McClung in 1994; one sister; one brother; two daughters; and one grandson.
The family will receive friends at Greathouse Funeral Home in Salem, W.Va., from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Greathouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery Kincheloe, W.Va.
