Sally Lucile Zavitz of London, Ontario, died very peacefully at her residence on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013.
She was born on Feb. 22, 1933 in Geneva, New York to Verne and Gladys (Engle) Beal. Sally graduated from Houghton College, Houghton, New York and went on to work as a Social Worker in Parkersburg, W.Va. for 35 years.
She was predeceased by first husband, Charles B. Maxwell.
In 1999, Sally moved to Canada and married R. Perry Zavitz. She will be lovingly remembered by his family; Jeanine Simpson and her husband Brett (and their children Bria and her husband Adrian Dieleman, Jordyn, and Mikayla), Michael Zavitz and Kathy Webber.
She was a Charter member of the Grace Brethren Church, Parkersburg, W.Va. and an active member of the Byron Community Church, London, Ontario.
A memorial service will be conducted at Byron Community Church, 336 Glenrose Drive on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. John Mackie.
