BELPRE - Devin Daniell scored a goal in each half and Ruben Guerra tallied on a direct kick as Belpre downed visiting Williamstown 3-0 in a boys soccer match Tuesday night at Ralph Holder Stadium.
Senior striker Daniell headed the ball into the net just 5:53 into the match. But then there were no more goals until 18:10 of the second half when junior midfielder Guerra drilled in a direct kick from 17 yards out over the leaping goalie into the right top corner of the net.
Daniell added the last Golden Eagle score with 6.6 seconds left to play, coming in on goal and booting it past the keeper.

Belpre's Ruben Guerra, left, battles Williamstown's Kelton Hutchins for the ball Tuesday during a soccer match at Ralph Holder Stadium.
The win improved Belpre's record to 9-3-1, while the loss dropped the Yellowjackets' season mark to 2-8-1.
Despite the shutout victory, Belpre head coach Jeff Stanley said he was "tired of sloppy wins. We're winning, and we've had a great year and have a ton of talent, but we just haven't put a game together in a while.
"But a win's a win. We don't give up very many goals though, so I'm happy with that.
"When we play as a team and we possess the ball, we can put up big numbers. But when we play kickball like the other teams want us to play, then we can't put the numbers on the board.
"When we worked the ball down the field tonight, we had plenty of chances to score, but we just didn't get it in the net. Plus Williamstown played well."
For the Yellowjackets, they have eight freshmen, of which five started Tuesday night.
Head coach Telma Poole said she began the season with 17 players, " but now I have just 12. Everybody knows you really can't play with only 12, because you basically don't have any subs at all. But our players give 100 percent effort, which makes me so proud of our team, because they're so young. We have only two seniors."
