Linda Cornecelli, 71, of Parkersburg, passed away Sept. 28, 2013.
She was born July 26, 1942 in Ravenna, Ohio, a daughter of the late Brady and Gertrude Sandy Brammer.
She was a member of the North Parkersburg Baptist Church. She was retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Parkersburg and was office manager at H & R Block. She had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 15 for several years. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed doing crafts at church, enjoyed crossword puzzles, computer solitaire, loved to watch football and argue with her brother.
She is survived by a son, Grant E. (Diane) Weekley; grandchildren, Kyle and Kelsey Weekley, Michael, Billy and Carmella Cornecelli, Alicia Beaty and Betheney Beaty; brother, Jeff (Debbe) Brammer; a sister, Kathleen Kemp-Ryan; nephews, Jason Groves and Brady Brammer; and a niece, Ashley Starkey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark Weekley; a daughter, Elizabeth Cornecelli; a stillborn son, Lyle David Weekley; and a sister, Patricia Gibson.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, W.Va., with Pastor Mike Towner officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the North Parkersburg Baptist Church, and from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
