PARKERSBURG - A Wood County man charged with a drug offense in 2012 was convicted Wednesday in Wood County Circuit Court.
Justin Randolph Stukey, 31, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail and was indicted by the May 2013 grand jury, was found guilty of a charge of delivery of a controlled substance after a one-day trial. His sentencing was set for 10:30 a.m. Nov. 25 before Judge Robert Waters.
Stukey also is set for trial on Nov. 19 on additional charges from a separate indictment in May 2013 charging him with two counts each of breaking and entering, entering without breaking and grand larceny and one count each of petit larceny and destruction of property.
In a sentencing in circuit court, Daniel Armando Banales, 34, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was sentenced to one year in jail after his July conviction on a charge of petit larceny. He was acquitted by the jury on a breaking and entering charge from the indictment.
Waters denied a defense motion for probation and sentenced Banales to one year in jail with credit for 156 days served. Banales was ordered to pay $77 in restitution to Camden Clark Medical Center.
