Richard Wayne Kinney, 60, of Waverly passed away Sept. 22, 2013.

He was born Dec. 13, 1952 in Parkersburg, a son of the late James Richard and Rosemary Schreckengost Kinney.

He was an electrician with the IBEW Local. Richard was a member of the Williamstown Masonic Lodge #129 A.F.&A.M, the Jerusalem Chapter #3, Calvary Commandery #3, Nemesis Shrine of Parkersburg where he participated in the Clown Unit. He was a Scottish Rite Valley of Parkersburg 32nd Degree KCCH and a member of the Williamstown Chapter #58 of the Order of Eastern Star. He was also a member of the Waverly Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra K. Kinney; one daughter, Shannon Husk (Mark) of Deerwalk, W.Va.; one step-son, Shawn Hartshorn of Parkersburg; two sisters, Rebecca D. Hall (Randall) of Deerwalk and Darlene M. Wright (Lon) of Waverly; one brother, David Lee Kinney (Tammy) of Vienna; two grandchildren, Katlynn and Hunter; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Rev. Diane Kenaston and Pastor Doug Guinn officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery with Masonic rites by Williamstown Masonic Lodge #129. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
