Harley Joseph Harris Sr., 75, passed away on Sept. 12, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center.
He was born April 10, 1938, to the late Brison and Anna Harris.
Harley was a veteran of the Air Force and later worked at St. Joseph's Hospital as a security guard.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Harris of Vienna; sons, Harley Harris Jr. (Sue) of Parkersburg, Mark Harris (Pam) of Washington County, Ohio, Michael Harris (Vicki) of Washington County, Ohio, Brian Harris of Parkersburg, and Karl Church (Cristina) of Parkersburg; step-children, Melissa Harper (Michael) of Edinboro, Pa., Thomas Russell (Colleen) of Green Island, N.Y.; a brother, David Harris; a sister, Patty Cowan; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Roger Harris; and one brother, Ralph Harris.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Sept. 14, at the Leavitt Funeral Home of Parkersburg, with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
