Shirley A. Mulligan, 71, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away on Sept. 11, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
She was born Feb. 15, 1942, in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late William and Mary Buckley Corbin.
Shirley was a homemaker, enjoyed playing Bingo and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Bryan (Deb) Thomas of Parkersburg; one daughter, Michelle Workman of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Brittany McDonald, Ryan Stoops and Brielle Thomas; three great-grandchildren, Natilye McDonald, Ryleigh Morris and Ryleigh Stoops; and one brother, Larry Corbin of Greenville, S.C.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Mulligan; and two brothers, Terry and Gary Corbin.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg.
Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, at the funeral home.
