Edna Frances Moore, 76, of Vienna, W.Va., went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sept. 8, 2013.
Edna was born on June 7, 1937, in Wood County, W.Va., the daughter of the late Edward Uhl and Tennessee Elliott.
Edna worked as a CNA at local nursing facilities and in private health care. She attended church services at River Valley Community Church of the Nazarene.
Edna is survived by her husband, Jackie Moore of Vienna, W.Va. She is also survived by seven children and several grandchildren, Sam Moore of Vienna, Jack Moore (Kim) of Parkersburg, Jerry Moore (Chris, JJ, Tiffany, Brooklyn and Aiden) of Parkersburg, Tom Moore (the late Tamara and son, Skylar) of Boaz, Jeannie Seebaugh (Ken, Chasity, Keith, Seth, Oceanna and Kaelyn) of Parkersburg, James Moore of Vienna and Jon Moore (Cindy, Jonathon, Lindsey and Brandon) of Massillon, Ohio. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Hammond (Bonita) of Ravenswood, W.Va.
Edna is preceded in death by her sister, Alvaretta "Buttons" Barker.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Landmark Baptist Church, 310 Eighth Ave., Parkersburg, with Pastor Michael Lamb officiating.
