Laurence P. Park

Laurence P. Park, 75, of Walker, W.Va., passed away Sept. 8, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 21, 1937, in Wood County, a son to the late Claud and Zanna McLain Park.

He retired as a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 565.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Harrison Park; three sons, Mark D. Park of Washington state, Gary L. Park of Idaho and Larry E. Park of Virginia; two grandchildren, Gregory Park and Matthew Park; two great-grandchildren, Brandt Park and AnnaBelle Mae Park; three brothers, Russell Park of Lubeck, Fred Park of Cedar Grove, W.Va., and Dale Park of Davisville; and two sisters, Glenna Low of Parkersburg and Dorothy Mick of Akron, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Roxie Cannon; and two brothers, David and Carl Park.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Mary Zimmer officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
