PARKERSBURG - Camden Clark Medical Center welcomed new physicians at a reception Thursday at the Parkersburg Country Club.
The doctors represent a range of specialties including primary care and surgery.
The event provided an opportunity to thank the new health care professionals for choosing Parkersburg and Camden Clark as their place to live and work, Rick Hamilton, executive director of the Camden Clark Physician Corp., said.

"This is a special night for the Camden Clark family. We have successfully recruited 13 new physicians and physician extenders over the last 6 months," Hamilton said. "The Camden Clark Physician Corp. is home to over 50 health care providers across most disciplines of medicine. We continue to make strides in creating access to the important primary care sector while strengthening the pool of specialist needed to provide comprehensive health care to the Mid-Ohio Valley."
