PARKERSBURG - Law enforcement agencies stormed at least two structures in the city this morning during a drug raid.
Members of the West Virginia State Police, the Wood County Sheriff's Department and the Parkersburg Police Department conducted a raid on Virginia Ave. While S.W.A.T. team members raided a set of downtown apartments.
Shortly after 8 a.m. law enforcement agencies swooped in on 905 Virginia Ave., for a marijuana bust. Members of the state police discovered a marijuana operation in several stages, recovering about 250 plants, as well as about two pounds of finished product. Parkersburg Police Sgt. Greg Collins said the stuff is valued at $500,000.

Collins said the state police had lead on the investigation, supported by city police and the sheriff's department.
Meanwhile, S.W.A.T. team and narcotics taskforce members stormed some dwellings at the Greenbrier Gardens near Quincy Street.
