Tamara Sue (Davis) Moore, 45, of Boaz, W.Va., went to be with her Heavenly Father on July, 31, 2013.
Tamara was born on Jan. 28, 1968, in Wood County, W.Va., the daughter of Cora May Davis and the late Larry Vernon Davis Sr.
Tamara was currently employed by The Parkersburg News & Sentinel (1997-1999, 2001-2013). She was Catholic by faith, but accepted all religions. She is a member of Amnesty International. She is a strong believer in organ donation, a supporter of peace, animal rights and accepted all people equally. Tamara believed strongly that everything in life happens for a reason, all things in the universe are connected and always said "Be yourself, everyone else is taken."
Tamara is survived by her husband, Tom Moore, and her son, Skylar (14) of Boaz, W.Va. She is also survived by her mother, Cora Davis of Parkersburg; her sister, Pamela Davis and fiance, Larry Bolen; sons, Matt and Chris; nephew, Zachary Staats; niece, Danielle Hall of Marietta, Ohio; her brother, Larry Davis Jr.; nephews, Isaac, Asher and Owen; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Tamara is also survived by her mother and father-in-law, Jack and Edna Moore of Vienna; her sister-in-law, Jeannie Seebaugh (Ken, Chasity, Keith, Seth, Oceanna, Kaelyn) of Parkersburg; brothers-in-law, Sam Moore of Vienna, Jack Moore (Kim) of Parkersburg, Jerry Moore (CD, JJ, Tiffany, Brooklyn and Aiden) of Parkersburg, John Moore (Cynthia, Jonathan, Lindsay and Brandon) of Massilon, Ohio, and Jim Moore of Vienna, W.Va.
A Celebration Of Life is being held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Landmark Baptist Church, Parkersburg, with Pastor Michael Lamb officiating. Visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to the service.
