James C. "Jim" Coleman, 82, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away July 17, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus.
He was born Dec. 24, 1930 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late William Everett and Zesta Adkins Coleman.
He was employed at the A&P Tea Company for 29 years and then retired from DuPont in 1993 after 16 years of service.
Jim is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolores Anne "Sandy" Dame Coleman; one daughter, Carroll Anne Caldwell (Albert), of St. Francisville, Louisiana; one son, David C. Coleman (Sandra), of Medina, Ohio; three sisters, Betty Mays of Columbus, Ohio, Barbara Wetterskog of Dallas, Texas and Joan Robbins of New Boston, Ohio; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law, Don Robbins and Don Mays.
As per his wishes there will be a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the Community Building in Jackson Park, Vienna.
