Lee Fiess Turner, 76, of Parkersburg, passed away July 11, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 28, 1937, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Edward L. and Blanche C. Fiess Turner.
Lee was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and self-employed in the lawn maintenance profession. He was a member of First Christian Church in Parkersburg.
He is survived by his sister, Joan E. Osborne of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Patricia "Pat" Turner of Littleton, Co.; five nieces, Lynn Carnicom, Ann Shriver, Amy Fisher, Leslie Baker and Meg Elder; and two nephews, Tom Young and Edward Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Young Lincicome, and a brother, Edward A. Turner.
It was Lee's wishes to be cremated. Burial of cremains will take place in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family. There will be no public services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vaughan Funeral Home and Crematory, Parkersburg.
