PARKERSBURG - One of two men arrested in an October 2012 drug raid was sentenced in Wood County Circuit Court Thursday.
Keith Mitchell Saunders, 44, 906 Lynn St., Parkersburg, entered a plea agreement in April to plead guilty to three charges of delivery of a controlled substance, marijuana, as charged by the January 2013 grand jury. Saunders was arrested in October after his residence was raided by Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force.
Saunders was sentenced by Judge Robert Waters to one to five years with credit for one day served for the first count and one to five years on the second and third counts. Counts two and three are to be served concurrently but consecutively to count one.
A motion for probation or alternative sentencing was denied and he was remanded to custody. Three additional counts were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
