William Scott Cale, 38, of Waverly passed away June 26, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 14, 1974, a son of Kay (Carney) Cale, of Waverly and the late Charles William "Buck" Cale.
He graduated from Washington State Community College with honors as a Medical Lab Tech and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting coins.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters Marie Knicley (Mike) of Parkersburg, Tami Piggott of Tennessee, Stephanie Cale of Morgantown; nieces and nephews, Brittany, Zakk, Reba, Chase, Jakob, and Tyler; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Harry and Virginia Carney and William "Fram" and Anna Cale; a cousin and two uncles.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m.
