Ralph McCullough

Ralph W. "Mac" McCullough, 90, formerly of Smithville, W.Va., died Wednesday June 12, 2013 at his daughter's residence.

He was born in Mole Hill, W.Va., a son of the late Romeo F. and Marie Glenn McCullough.

He was a United States Army veteran having served in WW II. He was a crane operator and member of 132 Operative Engineers Union. He also drove a bulldozer for Oil Field Workers. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and a 60- plus year member of Harrisville Lodge 98 AF & AM.

He is survived by two daughters Sandra "Sandi" Somerville (Paul Eliot) of Belpre, Ohio, and Sheila McCullough of Wirt County; and two grandchildren Kevin Fleming and Daniel McCullough.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Frances McCullough and a brother Robert McCullough.

Services will be Saturday 1 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Bob Sinnett officiating. Burial will be at Hardman Chapel. Visitation will be Friday 5-8 p.m..
