Beulah Victoria (Boots) Flowers, 65, of St. Marys, W.Va., passed away June 7, 2013, at the Marietta Center for Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born Sept. 8, 1947, in Ritchie County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Richard Ambrose and Vernetta Davis Ambrose Hart. She was a 1966 graduate of Pennsboro High School. She worked and retired from the former Quaker State Oil Refinery. She had worked at the Aluminum Plant in Bens Run and for Bayer in New Martinsville, W.Va. She previously had been a cook for the St. Marys Elementary School and the former Hi-Way Grille. She was a Methodist by faith. Her hobbies included camping and spending time with her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Dallas E. Flowers; a son, Dallas D. (Missy) Scadden; daughter-in-law, Jodie Scadden; five grandchildren, Chase A. Scadden, Brittney J. Scadden, Tory Scadden, Kendra Scadden and Trevor D. Scadden; a great-grandson, Dominic Scadden; two sisters, Mary Simonton and Opal Riffle; four brothers, George (Roxie) Ambrose, Ray (Jean) Ambrose, Francis (Sharon) Ambrose and Leroy (Shirley) Ambrose; a brother-in-law, Delbert Flowers; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Texas Scadden, and a brother, Emmett Edward Ambrose.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
The Ingram Funeral Home in St. Marys is assisting the family with arrangements.
