Ronald (Jack) Mullenix

Ronald (Jack) Mullenix went home to be with the Lord on May 27, 2013.

He was born Dec. 1, 1936, in Pullman, W.Va., to the late William O. Mullenix and Ona Wise Mullenix.

On Dec. 27, 1960, Jack married Rita K. Nichols, who survives. Also surviving is his only son, Jon (Janaa); and two grandsons, Brye and Bradan; two sisters, Jean Ford and Sarah Hall; and one brother, Bernard (Linda) Mullenix, all of Williamstown.

Jack graduated from Williamstown High School, served with the U.S. Army, and was a well-known builder in this area. He loved hunting, fishing and was an avid supporter of Williamstown High School athletics. Jack also served on the Union-Williams Water Board. Jack was a longtime member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, where he served as usher and care deeply about his church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alberta; and brothers, Arnold and Jim.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St, Marietta, Ohio, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Pine Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Mike Ward and the Rev. Calvin Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown.
