PARKERSBURG- Matheny Motors will be showing the public its new showroom Saturday at its dealership at Third and Ann streets in Parkersburg.
A ribbon cutting will be held at noon Saturday at Matheny's new GM Showroom and Service Center.
Work was completed on the facility in late December/early January, but dealership officials wanted to wait for the warm weather to settle in before having an open house, said Jessica Moyer of Mathey's Marketing Department.

"We have been in business for a long time," she said. "Last year, we celebrated our 90th year in business and this year we will be in our 91st year."
After so many years in business, dealership officials felt it was time for an upgrade to the showroom and service center in accordance with the GM Facility Image Program.
Both the showroom and the new service center are designed to put customers at ease and make the purchase process - and service visits - an enjoyable experience, dealership officials said.
The new showroom is 8,000 square feet. The service center features a new and convenient drop-off service bay with a customer friendly waiting lounge equipped with WIFI work stations, large screen TV, refreshment self-service station with complimentary beverages and snacks, and a children's playroom with toys and TV.
"While we were inconvenienced by the construction, the end result of this showroom and service center makes me incredibly proud of not only our product - Buick and GMC - but that our customers are given a VIP experience in their vehicle purchase and in future service visits," said Tim Matheny, president and general manager.
Saturday's event will include giveaways, door prizes, hot dogs and hamburgers.
Moyer said people will be able to look at new vehicles and test drive them.
"There will be all kinds of fun stuff to do," she said.
The dealership's Corner Cafe will be opening on June 3 in what was formerly the Suzuki Showroom at the corner of Third and Ann streets. The Corner Cafe will have daily specials and its hours are 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Matheny Motors operates seven locations throughout West Virginia, with the most recent being in Kenova.
