Hazel Grace Gibbs

Hazel Grace Gibbs, 89, of Coolville, Ohio, passed away May 5, 2013, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 5, 1924, in Clay, W.Va., daughter of the late Marshall and Nettie Lytle Triplett.

She was a homemaker and a member of Torch Baptist Church since 1957.

She is survived by two sons, David and Judith Gibbs and James Gibbs; two daughters, Judy and Phil Perdue and Helen and Cliff Sowards; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Neely Triplett; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Gibbs; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Gibbs; a son, Roger; a grandson, Daryl; a granddaughter, Tina Miller; and three brothers and a sister.

The family wishes to say a special thank you to the caregivers who have helped us keep our mother at home.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Torch Baptist Church, with Pastor Joe Law officiating. Burial will be in Stewart Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home.
