Juanita Grace Harris, 89, of Parkersburg, passed away May 4, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus.
She was born in Grafton, W.Va., on Feb. 25, 1924, a daughter of the late Walter D. and Mable C. (Boylen) Jones.
She graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1941. She was employed as a sales clerk for Cox's and Dils Brothers department stores. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a loving and talented lady, skilled in sewing and painting. She loved flowers and gardening and making all things she was involved in more beautiful. She was loved and will be sadly missed.
She is survived by one son, John Allen Harris of Marietta; two daughters, Rose Ann Campbell and husband, Ronald, of Parkersburg and Susan Lemon and husband, Roger, of Vincent; nine grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Chad, Jessica, Sarah, Chase, Cindy, Shelley and Misty; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joe Bill Jones of Coolville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Harris; daughter, Sheila Stastny; stepson, Charles "Judson" Harris; a brother, James Jones; and two infant brothers.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. David Stilgenbauer officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg.
