Bryan Ankrom, 40, of Parkersburg, passed away April 18, 2013, at Marietta Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born in Parkersburg, a son of Becky L. Butcher Valentine of Parkersburg and Stanley E. Ankrom of Coolville, Ohio.
Bryan graduated from Parkersburg High School, was a carpenter by trade and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Rebbecca Ankrom; two daughters, Patience Nicole Gibson and Calleigh Lynn Ankrom; two brothers, Kevin and Dennis Ankrom; several aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.
Bryan was preceded in death by his stepfather, Earl Valentine; one daughter, Catherine E. Bostic Ankrom, and one brother, Thomas Ankrom.
Cremation services have been entrusted to the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg. There is no visitation or service scheduled at this time.
The family requests expression of sympathy be made in the form of monetary donations to defray expenses.
