PARKERSBURG - Donald E. Williams, 33, of 2813 Soyer St., Apt. 8, Parkersburg, was arrested around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory in his home, police said.
Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force agents obtained consent from the residents to search the home where the lab was discovered, said police. The task force responded to a tip of a possible clandestine drug laboratory on Soyer Street.
Agents spent several hours processing the scene, locating and securing items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, officials said.
Williams was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court where his bond was set at $100,000, according to court records. He remained incarcerated in the Wood County Holding Facility Tuesday night, police said.
The Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force is comprised of officers from the West Virginia State Police, Parkersburg Police Department, Wood County Sheriff's Office and Vienna Police Department.
