Charles H. Morrison, 84, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
He was born in Wood County, a son of the late George D. and Laura Lucile Morrison. He owned several businesses in Wood County throughout the years, and was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He was a fan of NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ann Morrison; two sons, Gary Morrison of Belpre and Roger Morrison of Hillsboro, Ohio; two daughters, Susan Tackett of Tiffen, Ohio, and Tracie Villers of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; three step-daughters, Rosalie Taccino of Manassas, Va., Shirley Hathaway of Mineral Wells and Lisa Watson of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; a step-son, Edward Boice of Mineral Wells; two grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Rev. L. Norman Butler officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
