Linda Lou Baker

Linda Lou Baker, 68, of Harrisville, died March 10, 2013, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 4, 1945, at Washburn, W.Va., the daughter of the late Marion and Wanetta Grace Layfield Collins. Linda worked at Harrisville IGA in the deli. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Donzil Leroy Baker (Susan) of Harrisville, Samuel Anthony Baker of Mineral Wells and Mark Douglas Baker (Rhea) of Harrisville; two sisters, Doris Smarr of Weston and Eva Ramsey of Jane Lew; and three grandchildren, Julia Baker, Josh Layfield and Chris Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donzil Ford Baker; an infant brother; and brothers, Charles Collins and Jimmie Collins.

At Linda's request, private services will be held and memorial donations are preferred to Foundation for Hospice Home Care, 1226 Market St., Parkersburg, WV 26101, or Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1445, Parkersburg, WV.
