Mary M. Daniels Watson King, 90, of Parkersburg, W.Va., died March 8, 2013, at her residence.
She was born in Parkersburg, the youngest of 11 children, to the late Emery and Dora (Fansler) Daniels.
She retired from the Wood County Board of Education. Mary was an active member of Stout Memorial United Methodist Church since 1939. She was a member of Bethany Shrine No. 4 and a Lifetime Partner of CCMC Memorial Campus.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Earl P. King; two sons, David King (Agnes) of Davisville, W.Va., and Greg A. King (Susan) of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; stepdaughter, Donna Sue Allen (Carl) of Washington, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Jarrett, Peyton, Aaron and Zachary; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her patents she was preceded in death by her four brothers and six sisters.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stout Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Russell officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, and Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church.
