Huntington St. Joseph wins fifth straight small school title

CHARLESTON - No. 3 St. Marys' dream of becoming the first non-private school to capture the W.Va. State High School Girls' Class A championship since fellow Little Kanawha Conference member Williamstown accomplished the feat in 2003 came to an abrupt end Saturday when four-time defending state champion Huntington St. Joseph made it five-in-a-row with a 73-32 victory.
