CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Hannah Tothe's 3-pointer with 7 seconds left lifted Logan to a 52-49 win over top-seeded Spring Valley in the girls Class AAA semifinals Friday night.
Both teams were trying to advance to the championship game for the first time.
Spring Valley (23-4), which had beaten Logan twice earlier this season, stormed back from 15 points down to take its first lead, 49-47, on Brooke Heck's layup with 51 seconds left.
Shayna Gore's jumper with 40 seconds left tied the game, setting the stage for Tothe.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Miki Glenn set a Class AA girls tournament record with 40 points in Bridgeport's 57-48 semifinal win Friday over Nicholas County.
Ritchie County's Missy Spangler in 2001 and Scott's Makenzie White in 2011 shared the old mark of 37 points.
Glenn made 11 of 17 field goals and 17 of 18 free throws. She also had eight rebounds and six steals.
Second-seeded Bridgeport (24-2) returns to the championship game for the second straight season. It lost to Greenbrier East in Class AAA last year.
Hope Chalfant added 11 points for Bridgeport, which led by as many as 16 midway through the fourth quarter.
Shealyn Shafer had 26 points and 12 rebounds for No. 3 Nicholas County (21-4), which was trying to reach the title game for the first time.
Westside 51, Fairmont Senior 41
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Sophomore Hope Lester had 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead defending champion Westside to a 51-41 win over Fairmont Senior in the girls Class AA semifinals Friday night.
Top-seeded Westside (25-1) never trailed and will meet No. 2 Bridgeport (24-2) for the title on Saturday.
Danielle Brown added 10 points and Faith Davis had 12 rebounds for Westside.
Kaden Whaley scored 11 points and Gabby Tenney added 10 for No. 5 Fairmont Senior (19-7).
Fairmont Senior was limited to 28 percent shooting from the floor and was outrebounded 46-36. The Polar Bears were hoping for their first title-game appearance since 1997 in Class AAA.
CLASS A
St. Joseph 63, Tucker County 31
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Mychal Johnson has St. Joseph back in a familiar spot.
Johnson scored 23 points to lead St. Joseph to a 63-31 win over Tucker County in the Class A semifinals Friday.
Top-seeded St. Joseph (24-1) can earn its record fifth consecutive Class A championship on Saturday against No. 3 St. Marys.
St. Joseph is tied with the Mercer Christian teams that won titles from 1999-2002. Summers County in Class AA holds the all-classes mark for consecutive crowns with five from 2007-2011.
Mychelle Johnson and Griffin Dempsey had 12 points apiece for St. Joseph.
Fourth-seeded Tucker County (20-6), trying to reach the championship game for the first time since winning three straight titles from 1996-98, committed 32 turnovers.
