Ruth Ann Taylor

Ruth Ann Taylor, 70, of Vienna, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at CCMC, Memorial Campus.

Ruth was born Jan. 23, 1943, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Frank Lee and Mary Leota (Blankenship) Reed. Ruth spent her life as a homemaker for her loving family. She loved cooking and her children and grandchildren dearly. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Parkersburg and a member of TOPS #141 of Parkersburg where she just received her chapter queen award.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Myers (Raymond), Vienna; Ronnie Day (Rebecca), Parkersburg, and Timmy Fields, Vienna; brothers, Glenn Reed, Cleveland, Ohio and Ronald Reed (Faye) Streetsboro, Ohio; special aunt, Beebee Miracle, Vienna, along with 19 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gene Day; daughter, Jackie Rollins and her two girls, Brandy and Christy, and son, Scott Day and his two sons, Brandon and Nathaniel.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor John Lands officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemtery, Parkersburg. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
