Suspended sentence for Parkersburg man

PARKERSBURG - A Wood County man was given a suspended sentence Wednesday in Wood County Circuit Court after his December plea to a drug-related charge.

Billy Lee Miller, 49, 1101 Broadway Ave., Parkersburg, was sentenced to two to 10 years in prison with credit for one day served, suspended for three years probation.

According to court records, Miller pleaded guilty on Dec. 13, 2012, to a charge of second-offense manufacture of a controlled substance as charged by the September 2012 grand jury. As part of the plea agreement, two charges of domestic battery and one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance were dismissed.
