PARKERSBURG - A man was charged on Monday with a Jan. 8 burglary at 1814 Rayon Drive where a refrigerator and dishwasher were taken, Parkersburg police said Tuesday.
A fingerprint lifted by Parkersburg evidence technician R.E. Clegg was identified by the West Virginia State Police Crime Lab as belonging to Michael A. Bowers, 37, 4435 14th Ave., department spokesman Sgt. Greg Collins said.
Detective T.A. Davis obtained a search warrant for the residence where detectives on Monday recovered a stolen refrigerator and dishwasher, Collins said.

Bowers was charged with burglary, a felony, Collins said. He was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court and held on a $50,000 bond at the North Central Regional Jail.
According to the criminal complaint in magistrate court, someone used a brick to break the front door of the home. A Kenmore refrigerator and a Whirlpool dishwasher were taken.
