This letter is in response to your editorial "Same Old Song." How you could even begin to compare Auditor Gainer to Darrell McGraw is absurd. Gainer is highly respected and has done a great job for West Virginia, as his father did prior to him.
This man is a class guy. You all make way too much out of these things.
Gainer does not need to promote himself. He has promoted himself by the job he has done representing all of us in West Virginia. The program he installed is good a one and benefits West Virginia. Why would you not make a positive out of this instead of the negative you all always seem to take.
Gainer serves us all well.
