Ann T. Purcell, 89, of Parkersburg, passed away Feb. 24, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of the late Frank and Annie Minor Carpenter.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, cooking Italian foods and was Catholic by faith.
She is survived by her husband, William H. Purcell of Parkersburg; her stepchildren, Patricia Ann Ahart and William H. Purcell Jr., both of Parkersburg; her step-grandchildren, Christy Hayhurst and husband Tim, Christopher Eric Wigal and Debbie Gray; and four step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Audrey Jean Wigal; and a step-granddaughter, Dedra Ahart.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg, with the Rev. Mr. John Maher officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-5 p.m.
