Ohio 82, Central Michigan 63

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) - Walter Offut had 17 points and eight rebounds, leading Ohio to an 82-63 victory over Central Michigan on Wednesday night.

Reggie Keely added 14 points and Ricardo Johnson had 11 for the Bobcats (18-6, 9-1 Mid-American), who hit 10 of 21 3-pointers and shot 52 percent overall from the field. It was Ohio's first win at McGuirk Arena since 2007.

Kyle Randall scored 28 points for Central Michigan (9-15, 2-9) - the fifth straight game over 20 for the leading scorer in the Mid-American Conference.

Chris Fowler had seven assists, giving him a Chippewas freshman record of 121 for the season.

Marshall 71, Rice 70

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - Elijah Pittman scored 22 points to lead Marshall over Conference USA-foe Rice 71-70 Wednesday night.

Marshall (11-14, 4-6) entered having lost two straight and five of six. Pittman was 7-of-10 shooting and made three 3-pointers. D.D. Scarver hit four treys en route to 17 points, while Dennis Tinnon had 11 points and Nigel Spikes 10.

DeAndre Kane, ranked sixth in the NCAA averaging 7.2 assists entering Wednesday, had 10 helpers for the Thundering Herd.

Spikes hit two free throws to put Marshall ahead 62-61 with 3:35 left and added two more foul shots 36 seconds later for a decisive 64-61 lead.

Rice's Julian DeBose hit a 3 to make it 71-70 with 1 second left, but the Owls (5-19, 1-9) couldn't get the ball back for another shot.

Marietta College 93, Mount Union 81

ALLIANCE, Ohio - Tyler Hammond and J.J. Martin combined for 45 points as Marietta College posted a 93-81 Ohio Athletic Conference road win at Mount Union on Wednesday night.

The Pioneers, now 18-6 overall and 14-3 in the OAC with a 2 p.m. road game up next on Saturday at John Carroll, also got 13 points from Jacob Owens and a double-double of 11 points and 10 boards from Jason Humphrey.

Mount Union (12-13, 9-8) was led by Nate Jacubeck and Jarrett Ruffin, who had 15 points apiece. Ex-Williamstown all-stater Matt Kiger finished with eight points, seven rebounds and one assist in 17 minutes of action for the Purple Raiders.

WOMEN

No. 25 Oklahoma State 64,

West Virginia 54

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Brittney Martin scored a career-high 21 points and No. 25 Oklahoma State pulled away from West Virginia 64-54 Wednesday night to split the season series.

The Cowgirls, who have won three Big 12 Conference road games for the first time since 2009-10, lost to the Mountaineers 67-61 on Jan. 29 and were coming off Sunday's 80-61 loss at No. 23 Oklahoma.

Oklahoma State (17-6, 6-6) trailed 22-20 when Toni Young's layup and jumper sparked a 10-0 run en route to a 35-25 halftime lead.

The Mountaineers trimmed the deficit to 37-35 on Christal Caldwell's 3-pointer, but Martin answered with a trey to launch a 10-2 spurt.

Tiffany Bias scored 14 points, and with two steals became the third Cowgirl to reach 1,000 points, 500 assists and 200 steals. Young added 12 points and 16 rebounds for her 31st career double-double.

Marietta 89, Mount Union 84

MARIETTA-The Marietta College Pioneers upset the Mount Union Purple Raiders 89-84 in overtime at Ban Johnson Arena Wednesday night.

Tori Dixon shot 9-of-12 from the floor to lead the Pios with 26 points. Mount Union's Rosa LaMattina led everyone with 28 points. Marietta shot 32-of-61 (52.5 percent) on the night while the Purple Raiders were 30-for-76 (39.5 percent). Marietta also held the edge in rebounding 46-33.

The win improved Marietta's record to 9-15 overall and 4-13 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Mount dropped to 18-6 overall and 12-5 in the OAC.

Marietta is back in action Saturday when it hosts John Carroll at 3 p.m. at Ban Johnson Arena.
