William "Bill" and Betty Smith of Belleville will celebrate their 60th anniversary Feb. 14.
The couple was married in Belleville.
He is a retired school bus driver for Wood County Schools and has been a farmer in Belleville for all his life. She is a homemaker.

They are the parents of Wilma (Caroll) Knapp of Granville, Ohio; Neal (Lurline) of Fort Gay, W.Va.; Betty Jean Maxwell of Belleville; Sharon (Greg) Smith of Belleville; Paul (Sue) Smith of Shannon, N.C.; Connie (Jay) Chambers of Ravenswood; Mary Ann (Greg) Knapp of Belleville and Tim Smith of Belleville.
They have 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The couple was honored by their children Feb. 3 with a dinner at their home.
