Michael Louis Shreves, 56, of Walker, W.Va., formerly of Pennsboro, passed away Feb. 4, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 14, 1956 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Max Shreves and Patricia Ann (Jones) Shreves of Pennsboro.
Mike was an employee of WinCore Windows and Doors in Parkersburg. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles. He was a graduate of Pennsboro High.
Surviving in addition to his mother is a son, Michael James Shreves of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; granddaughter LeAnna Shreves of Tuscaloosa; brothers Jim Shreves of Pullman, Jeff Shreves of Galena, Ohio, and Keith Shreves of New Lexington, Ohio; sisters Pat Clinton of Augusta, Ga., Kimberly Houk of Corning, Ohio, Debbie Houk of Crooksville, Ohio, and DeAnn Boring of Crooksville, Ohio, and stepmother JoAnn Shreves of New Lexington, Ohio.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother Kurt Shreves.
Funeral services will be Saturday 2 p.m. at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro with Pastor Brian Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Harmony Masonic Cemetery, Pennsboro. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
