Marilyn E. Browning, 55, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., went home to be with her Lord, Jan. 27, 2013, after a couragious battle with cancer.
She was born in Charleston, W.Va., the daughter of the late Howard and Norma Campbell Harding. She had at one time been employed by Nashua Photo, and had recently worked for Teknetix in Parkersburg. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and trout fishing in the mountains of West Virginia. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, Gage and Aden. She had attended the Pleasant View Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Michael E. Browning of Mineral Wells; one son, Michael Paul Browning and Katrina of Parkersburg; her grandsons, Gage Hunter Stephens and Aden Michael Browning; her brothers and sisters, Terry Harding of Parkersburg, Richard Harding of Parkersburg, Norma Bennett of Parkersburg, Norma Teft of Parkersburg, Russell Cunningham of Coolville, Ohio, and Eva Lockhart of Lubeck, W.Va. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Wayne Harding.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg. Interment will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
