ST. MARYS -Parkersburg Catholic took control of the Little Kanawha Conference's North Division here Saturday night, breaking a 24-all halftime tie and rolling to a 53-42 win over St. Marys.
The victory lifted PC to 11-1 overall and 7-0 in the LKC North while dropping St. Marys to 12-2 and 7-2.
Jake Ullman led Catholic with 23 points while Joe Padden added 12 and Brady Kurucz 10.
St. Marys got 13 points from Austin Bayless.

The host Blue Devils led 10-9 after the first quarter but Catholic tied the game at intermission.
The Crusaders, winners of 10 straight, held a five-point edge at 37-32 after three quarters and held the lead down the stretch.
Both teams return to action on Monday when Catholic travels to Doddridge county and St. Marys meets South Harrison in the West Virginia Hometown Invitational Tournament.
Tyler Consolidated 68, Madonna 65
WEIRTON -Dylan Romine converted a three-point play with eight seconds left and scored 14 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Silver Knights to a 68-65 come-from-behind victory here Saturday against Madonna.
Tyler Consolidated (6-8) went into the locker room with a 34-32 halftime lead only to see Madonna (4-8) pull ahead, 50-43, going into the fourth quarter. The Silver Knights outscored Madonna in the final period, 25-15.
Leading the way for the Blue Dons was Tyler Ewusiak with 13 points.
Tyler will look to extend its winning streak when the Silver Knights play host to St. Marys on Tuesday.
Magnolia 82, Wheeling Central 66
NEW MARTINSVILLE - Magnolia upped its mark to 10-4 on Saturday as the Blue Eagles dropped visiting Wheeling Central, 82-66, in the Rotary Challenge.
Mark Winters and Zach Willhoite tallied 25 points each for the Blue Eagles, who play host Tuesday to Monroe Central. Blue Eagle Stephen Rogalski canned five treys and finished with 19 markers.
Freshman Chase Harler was one of three Maroon Knight (8-9) players to score in double figures, finishing with 25.
Belpre 67, Southern 56
RACINE, Ohio - Dakota Hoffman led Belpre with 21 points and eight assists Saturday night at the Golden Eagles topped host Southern, 67-56, in a Tri Valley Conference contest.
Belpre also got 15 points from Nick Therriault and 11 points and five blocks from Ryan Leasure as well as eight points, 11 rebounds and three steals from Bryce Pittenger.
Southern was led by Tristen Wolfe with 24 points.
Belpre travels to Miller for a 7:30 p.m. game on Tuesday.
Williamstown 75, Bishop Donahue 62
NEW MARTINSVILLE - Hunter Neely scored a career-high 18 points and Josh DeBolt led all point-producers with a game-high 19 here Saturday afternoon as Williamstown finally snapped its 11-game slide by knocking off Bishop Donahue, 75-62, in the Rotary Challenge.
The 'Jackets also received 14 points from Jarric Hoskins, a dozen by Landon Travis and eight more from Josh Palmer. WHS (4-11) welcomes Ravenswood on Tuesday.
Bryce Jones and Jessie Parlow led the Dons (10-4) with 14 markers apiece.
Wirt County 80, Clay County 73
ELIZABETH -Kalob Bell scored 27 points and Austin McVey chipped in 25 and the Tigers defeated Clay County, 80-73, here Saturday night.
Wirt County, now 4-11 with a home game Tuesday versus Braxton County, trailed by four at halftime before exploding for 51 points in the second half
Clay County was led in scoring by Jarrod Woodyard (22), Alex Burkhammer (13), Stephen Cole (13) and Chris Cole (13).
Parkersburg Christian 57,
East Richland 54
ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio - Austin Alley had 19 points, 20 rebounds, five blocks and five assists to help lead Parkersburg Christian to its second win of the season in eight tries as the Knights handed host East Richland a 57-54 setback on Saturday.
Parkersburg Christian also had double figure scoring efforts from Korbin Wright (15), Harlan Bowswer (12) and Eric Wade (11).
Joel Mott's game-high 28 points weren't enough for East Richland.
Wahama 62, Federal Hocking 59
MASON - Trenton Gibbs scored a career-high 26 points and added nine rebounds, three steals and as many blocks to help lead host Wahama to a 62-59 victory here Saturday night against Federal Hocking.
The Lancers (11-4) were led by Shawn Parsons' 15-point effort. FHHS also received 10 points apiece from Terrance Mayle, Cliff Bonner and Max Carney.
Austin Jordan tossed in 14 points while Hunter Bradley had nine markers and nine caroms for the White Falcons, who improved to 6-8 and play Tuesday at Eastern.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
St. Marys 68, Clay-Battelle 61
LOST CREEK - No. 4 Clay-Battelle tied the score at 52-52 with 4 minutes left in the final period but No. 3 St. Marys (15-1) was able to pull away here Saturday night to win the Northern Divison at the West Virginia Hometown Invitational Tournament and hand Clay-Battelle its first loss of the season.
The Blue Devils had two players recored double-doubles as both Audra Clark and Kendra Walker scored 11 points and accounted for 10 rebounds.
St. Marys also had three other double-digit scorers in Abbi Fetty (15), Ashley Hall (10) and Mikaela Britton (10). The Blue Devils advance to play Gilmer County in the championship game next Saturday at South Harrison High School.
Leading the way for the Cee Bees (14-1) was MacKayla Wilkins with 25 points.
