Coy Wayburn Eddy

Coy Wayburn Eddy, age 82, of Creston, passed away Wednesday Jan. 23, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus, after an extended illness.

Coy was born Sept. 5, 1930 in Beatrice, W.Va., son of the late James and Bertha Veon Eddy. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Ann Marie Eddy.

He was an independent truck driver for many years and retired as a truck driver from Kroger after 17 years. He worked part time for the Department of Highways for Wirt County. Coy served his country in the USAF during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Elizabeth.

Coy is survived by one daughter Penny Fox, her husband Chuck, of Creston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be having a memorial service later this spring.
